Alyssa was the best. She was so patient and quick to offer encouragement when I was unsure and her praise after completing a challenge was the best confidence booster. The zip lines are shorter that other I have tried but the obstacle courses got progressively harder. I highly recommend the leap of faith. Once I heard from Alyssa that every guide must run the course and do the leap each morning before start of business then I had to do it. What a rush. I highly recommend this experience. They should advertise more because I had to search zip line just to find them.

I did all of the courses and the zip lines. It was super fun and worth it. I loved every bit of it and when they say the Ninja course is difficult, it is true.

Me and my son (10) did everything but the ninja course. We had a great time and he was able to complete all courses. Staff was great and very knowledgeable. Excellent experience and well worth it. Took us 4 hrs to complete with a couple water breaks. Will definitely be back for the ninja course!!

I booked Mountain Ridge Adventure for a school group outing recently, and I received nothing but good feedback from both my student's and counselor's. They had a great time, and we will definitely be coming back again next year!

Great experience. Good tour guide and owner for providing great customer experience. We started off by starter level which is 2 hrs, and then we kicked off and upgraded it since it’s more fun. Nice place to have fun with a group. Also, nice nature with chilling countryside feeling

This place is the best! First timer here. Ground training was fun and easy to understand. Sarah was our guide, she was so calm, friendly and knowledgeable. She made us feel safe every step of the way. The scenery here is so beautiful and peaceful. If you’re in the area or passing by for sure go give it a try.

Took my boys today and our guide was thatcher, we met the owner and it only took a few minute conversation to learn we were at the safest/most fun zip-lining place in the area…our guide started us off with bringing us to the learning grounds area first and i was so impressed with how patient he was with teaching 2 young boys…Then it was off to fly thru the trees!!Our guide was very helpful and took his time with us all to ensure we understood what to do thru-out each obstacle….Both my boys had a blast and before we were half way done my boys were already asking to come back…I can’t say enough good things about mountain ridge and the staff there, thatcher even managed to convince my boys to take the 40ft leap ( highly recommend doing as well)So happy with our experience and would encourage anyone thinking about it to get out here an do it!Rumor has it the owner even has a new attraction coming soon!

Michael and Mountain Ridge Adventure provided a great day for my family to experience a change of pace during our Adirondack vacation.Our guide Sarah did a tremendous job of helping the kiddos on the obstacles and ziplines.Highly recommended!

This place was AMAZING! I brought my son and we had the best time. Neither one of us have ever done anything like this but they explained all the equipment and directions really well and made me feel super comfortable. There are a ton of safety measures in place and despite being very nervous when we arrived and very out of our comfort zone, we both had a blast! Would LOVE to come back and highly recommend!

Went to celebrate my boyfriends 30th birthday and had an absolute blast! The obstacle course were so much fun, challenging but doable and our guide Chuck was amazing! He was beyond friendly very personable as well and he made sure our safety was top priority. Worth the time and money spent! We'll definitely be coming back with friends and for zombie zips (:

We had an absolutely amazing time doing all the zip lines. Micheal & Olivia got us all situated and taught us how to figure out all the things for zip lining. Schuyler helped us with the leap of faith. We definitely recommend going here for an awesome experience. Worth every minute!

My husband and I went for the memorial weekend and we had a great time. Since we arrived they really welcomed us and explained everything we asked. Troy was really great explaining how to use the cable connections and he learned our names which makes you feel comfortable. The zip lines are really fun and some of them are challenging but it feels great being able to complete them. We will be back soon, it's a great work out. We love nature and this place is amazing.

It was an awesome experience! There are no bathrooms or running water, so bring a water bottle and plenty of snacks and use the bathroom before hand (they have one port-a-potty). The area was well taken care of but had lots of mosquitos (cover yourself in bug spray before)! This was truly a much more challenging and unique experience than other similar parks in the area. Our guides (Erica and Phoenix) were very helpful and encouraging during many of the hard/difficult obstacles. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and knew their courses well. We noticed that the higher level courses were difficult for us (we are very fit marathon runners and college athletes) and we ended the day happy and tired! We did the 3 hr experience and had enough time to do all of the offered courses and the zip lines at the end. If we could’ve changed anything it would be to bring more water and more bug spray!

Our guide was Thatcher (i probably spelled that wrong) and when my sister got uncomfortable he was very calm and handed it very well. We did the starter course and it was so much fun. Can’t to go back and try the harder courses!

What a fun way to spend the day! The park was so much fun for all ages. Glenn was our guide and took such great care of us. He helped our youngest overcome some tricky maneuvers and encouraged our oldest to try new things. The entire staff was so friendly and the quality of the courses was top notch! We even spotted an Owl!

My team and I had a great time at Mountain Ridge Adventure recently. The course is beautiful and challenging to various degrees. The ravine is beautiful and the ziplines are a blast. A great team building event. Definitely recommend.

Let me just say.. This place is awesome if you like adventure, heights and even overcoming your fear of heights! I took my 2 sons and 3 of their friends to Mountain Ridge today and as it didn't go super smooth in the beginning (not because of anything with Mountain Ridge.. But I'll get to that) by the end they all had a great time! My youngest isn't very keen on heights so when he got to the first zip line and had to go up the scaffolding and go over the gorge his mind changed quickly. Emma got him down where we then met the WONDERFUL Lateesha. She took him under her wing and was patient in guiding him through what ever he was comfortable doing. By then end he was a green course "pro". I can't even say enoigh about how amazing she was with him. Alyssa also helped him guide his way through the green tree top course by weighing down the ropes so he didn't sway so much.. Again amazing. My oldest had a bit of a conundrum at the 5th course(and end of the day tour) and got all tangled in the log rope course but they immediately radioed to the owner and with in 5 seconds she had her gear on and raced to help him. The staff is absolutely amazing, helpful, patient and calm. Chuck helped the other 2 in the group guide their way through course 3 and then down. By the end of the day they all had a great time and one overcame his fear and wants to keep going back! Thank you so much for this experience.. We will definitely be back next year, stronger and better! PS.. Even though it's not required, please consider tipping them at the end! They work so hard to guide and keep their patrons safe and having a great experience..it goes a long way!

We had an amazing experience!!!! What an awesome group of zombies, they made us laugh, and scream with joy and a little fright.The zombies escorted us from our vehicle and even terrorized my girlfriend in the port-a-jon. She couldn't stop laughing when they scratched and clawed at the walls, even rocking it just enough to make it seem real.They truly made the entire experience wonderful.

This was a fun night and the staff was great. We had a small hiccup with the Uber. Despite putting in a Schenectady address it brought us somewhere else. We missed our original start time and they were kind enough to still let us go!

This place was worth the 2.5 hour drive! We did the full treetop pass, 3 hours of non-stop fun, and challenging yourself. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Troy was our instructor, and he was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We had the best time. I screwed up our reservation and Olivia was so understanding and worked hard to accommodate us anyway. This was a birthday surprise and we'd traveled a bit to get there and she couldn't have been more kind to us. The courses are so much fun and our guide, Troy, was totally fantastic to our small party - I'm sure everyone is great, but he was fun, encouraging and right there to keep us going. Would highly recommend and hope to go back again.

I had such a great time. Went in a group of four, the safety equipment is excellent, the staff is extremely positive and present, and oh my that 40 foot trust jump is quite something to experience. Doing the zip lines at the end was a great idea, we were all tired after 2 hours of nonstop climbing and it was a perfect conclusion to a fun morning.

The obstacles, equipment, and guide we had were all amazing.Their FAQs states, "A Challenge Course pass is good for 3* hours... You can do as many courses as you can accomplish within the 3 hours for the Treetop Pass." We had 30 minutes to spare after finishing the treetop course and zipline course, and they did not allow us to do any challenge courses again. If repeating challenge courses is not allowed, it should be stated more clearly as it sounds like they can be repeated. It seemed a little unfortunate, especially since we paid for the whole time. Otherwise, the experience was great and everything was very timely.

Our second time here. This time the birthday girl was old enough to focus on the zipline park. As always, such a clean, well organized and safe environment. Today our main guide was JJ, and he was great with all of us. From the near 50 year old mom to the athletic 15 year old boy and even the sassy newest 13 year old on the block.... he was personable, informative, encouraging and just a great guy. Thank you for another happy birthday adventure!

Took my boys 13 and 15, for the aerial courses and zip lining! Was a lot of fun!!! The aerial courses were very challenging…Rhi was an awesome guide always encouraging us!!! My 15 year old did the leap of faith and it was heart pounding, but he loved it!!! The best was the zip lining!! The boys went through twice cause we had extra time!! Safety was definitely number 1 priority!! Thank you so much!!!

I have a fear of heights, but going through it gave me confidence. Loved the Inspire course!

We went to Mountain Ridge Adventure for Father's Day as a group of 4 and had a great time! Our guides were Connor and Thatcher and they were friendly, funny, patient, and encouraging. Three of us did the leap of faith which was also a thrilling experience. The adventure courses were each different from one another and used different skills so it was challenging but doable and I always felt safe and prepared.

There was 6 in my Family age 10 to 65. We did the Whole Challenge and the Zipline. Haliegh and Lily where very Patient and Encouraging throughout the course. What a Terrific Adventure for all of us. Memories where made this day.

This was a really fun activity to do with family. Starts off easy but keeps getting higher and more challenging. Our guide's name was Troy. He was very patient and encouraging with us. We felt very safe, they teach you everything you need to know about the gear and each group has a guide to keep an eye on you and give you tips on navigating the course if you have trouble. We had a range of ages and ability levels in our group and had an awesome day. I highly reccomend visiting with any friends or family members who are a little more athletic or adventurous. Some of the zip lines are really fast so be prepared for some fast landings! My body is a little sore from getting a workout up there. I was definitely sweating but it was good! The views from up in the treetops are really nice and we got some fun photos.

Found Mountain Ridge Adventure on google and am so glad we did! This business is worth every penny! From the minute you check in to the minute you leave you will have a blast and feel like a child on Christmas morning… we did the zip line course and it was amazing! 10 zip lines for 2 hours and we did the course 3 times! Plus we paid the additional $5 for the leap of faith and while a bit challenging to get to the top of, the staff talked you through it step by step and cheered you on until you take the leap of faith! The staff are so nice and cheerful and the guides are everywhere throughout the park in case you have questions or just to make sure you are safe. We will definitely be going back before they close this season and for many years to come!

What an amazing experience! To start the staff cannot be beat. Not only were they knowledgeable but amazingly kind. They remembered each of our names, took time to teach and encourage us! The course itself was just such fun! When I tell you I could not believe 2 hours passed so quickly! The leap of faith was so cool, and we all got a big laugh from the free fall. All in all a fantastic time and can't wait to go again!!!

My husband and I took our family and everyone had a wonderful time. Troy was spectacular. He helped everyone get started and then when I struggled (I'm kind of an old lady) he helped me through the entire zip line course. He was also great helping my granddaughter when she got hung up. Kudos to Troy and the entire crew for a fabulous day

This was an awesome experience. Started off with some quick instructions and then right to the course. Figured this was easy but as the courses went on they got more difficult. It was a challenge at some spots. Our guide Cole did an amazing job giving us tips and guidance when we got stuck. Always encouraging us on the tough obstacles. I dropped my phone while I was on a platform. He even got it for me and asked if I wanted him to hold on to it. Then the thunder and lightning came, day ruined right? Nope waited out the storm and got back on the course. They even extended our time for the time we waited out the storm. Went to the zip line and that was fun just floating through the air. My son and I both agree we will be back and will bring my daughter and wife next time.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings and very well laid out courses. It is apparent this company is very safety conscious, the guides check everything and they run you through a training session before you get onto the course. The equipment is designed so that you can not be in the trees without being secured. Our guide Troy was absolutely wonderful and encouraging to a grandmother and granddaughter. All in all a great time!

Mountain Ridge Adventure was super fun. I went with my nearly 13 year-old grandson. He said that the obstacle courses were super fun, but increasingly challenging. He was able to do courses 1-4, but only did half of course 5. I, as a 62 year-old woman did courses 1-3, before I was too tried to continue. The zip line course was super fun. We appreciated the safety equipment, and never felt unsafe. The instructors were very helpful. This is a fun activity if you like being outdoors.

We had an incredible family experience. Our guide, Connor, did a great job training us in ground school and keeping us informed on the obstacles. He was an absolute pleasure. We all really challenged ourselves and will cherish the videos, pics, and memories from our first experience. We will definitely be back, hopefully before the season ends. Quite honestly, I wish we'd done this years ago. Thank you to everyone we encountered during our time, they were all kind and helpful. One of the things I really appreciated is that they let us tour the space the day before our adventure so we had a better idea of what to expect. I feel like that was going above and beyond customer service. Loved it!!!

My family and I came up for a day trip to the zip line park. It was my first time and their second time going. That already tells you how much fun it is. The staff were friendly and helpful. The zipline attendants were great at walking people through anything they were stuck on and encouraging you along the way. It's good fun and I'm certainly looking forward to go back and try their Ninja Black Diamond course!

This course is more fun and more challenging than other courses I’ve done in this area. The staff is utterly amazing and supportive- you will never be out of sight or earshot of the knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic employees who strive to create working relationships with each participant. I highly recommend Mountain Ridge for groups and families!

The course was fantastic and a lot of fun! The design is great and challenging enough to tire you out. My only suggestion would be to find a way to put in water coolers along the way. We did the 3 hour tour on a hot day and could have use some hydration. Thanks to Olivia for being a great guide.

Had a great experience with our guides Alex and Sam. They were encouraging and assuring. We were on our way back from vacation and decided to take a detour, and it was totally worth it. It was a Friday and there weren't many people and it was beautiful. Courses were good for me up to level 4 but level 5 is a big step up and got me exhausted. It was fulfilling though. Only tip was to not wear anything loose - I got my eye glasses caught with a rope and lost it in the woods lol.

Stephanie is an amazingly, encouraging guide. Our brave 10 year old attempted The Leap of Faith , on her own. Stephanie was gracious and took the climb with her. She provided support and courage for our daughter . What an AMAZING experience!!!! We will be back to conquer The Leap of Faith! Ty Steph for helping us make memories !

We are staying in Lake George and had plans to do a treetop adventure course near there. Our 10 year old was just short of the reach requirement to do the advance course at the local one. After searching some more we came across Mountain Ridge which was just under and hour away but had great reviews. And we would be able to do the advanced courses together. So glad we made the trip out there. All four of us had a great time. The numerous courses increase in difficulty and provided plenty of challenge. It was very clean and welll laid out. All of the staff were super nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend taking the extra time to venture there. We would certainly return if we come back to the area.

Excellent adventure! Loved the venue and the fact that it is close to Albany. Park is clean and well designed. There are several obstacle courses of varying complexity……something for everyone from beginner to l advanced. The obstacles are designed to include everyone….. you don’t have to be super athletic/strong or tall to get through them. The zip lines are my favorite. Plenty of action, great speed, and varying heights. Would 100% recommend and plan to go again! They even rent helmets with go pro attachments to record your runs! Staff are friendly and accommodating, great place! 😊

Brought my daughters here and they had a blast! I was impressed with their focus on safety, way more than other zip line places. The staff was very friendly and our guide Chuck was amazing! He was very patient and was encouraging my girls the whole time. We will definitely be returning.

Day was fantastic! Cole was phenomenal with his suggestions on how to navigate through the obstacles were so helpful and reassuring. Always reassuring and spoke to us on a first name basis, which made you feel more secure, I guess. Safety was definitely first and that’s why we had such a great time. Clean, wooded beautiful area. Challenges escalated through each course. Leap of faith pretty cool for someone that’s never jumped before. It was truly no biggie, but felt great. I trusted the gear and Cole and just jumped. Great for siblings if you want to see them work together and not nit pic at one another. Truly a great experience, will visit again and try to get to Ninja! Plenty of room for the people who just want to watch… pictures came out amazing. Thank you to everyone we met and thank you to Cole! Poor kid, we must have called his name about 50 times, but he was there for every one.

This was a wonderful experience! I took my 12 year old grandson who is very obese. He took the beginners treetop adventure and the guy that he was assigned was so very kind and patient with him. It was a great experience for my grandson and for me. I would highly recommend this place. Very peaceful and very joyful.

This was our first time here and it was awesome! We had a fantastic time! It was a great obstacle course and ziplines for all ages. My kids who are 15 & 13 definitely want to come back.Glenn was exceptionally nice and professional and taught us everything we needed to know and be safe!I highly recommend this place for a fun active quality time to share with family and friends!We will definitely be back! 👍🏻Thank you for a great experience

Originally gave 5 star, after returning a couple years later the place was not the same at all. I started off with the 10am group, 3 people were late and showed up after we were harnessed in.(making about 10 of us total) by the time we finished ground school it was 11am because multiple people did not pay attention, and needing the instructions all over again. We then proceeded to the 1st (out of 7) courses. If your physically fit i DO NOT recommend getting behind someone who isn't on the course, or u will not be able to finish! They have set a time limit on how fast u need to finish the courses and was also told " i shouldn't of waited for my friends to proceed with the course" when I finished the 4th course and was ready to proceed to the 5th, I was told I did not have enough time to do it today, to purchase another ticket and come back and do ALL the courses over again. Extremely disappointing.

This is the absolute best place to have a birthday party! So much fun! Everyone went home having had a blast! I highly recommend it!

Fantastic place!!! I was scared out of my mind! JJ gave great training & the entire staff was caring and totally into it I conquered my fear and I would DEFINITELY go again! Highly recommend!
